Collection and Use of Information
flowersales.co.nz collects personal data for the purpose of providing a specific product or service requested by the customer. Certain information may be required in order to provide this product or service, such as full name of customer and recipient, e-mail address, billing address, contact phone numbers and credit card number.

The information collected may also be used to inform the customer of additional products and services, which may be of interest to them. At the Order page, you will be asked for your consent to subscribe to our newsletter. We send out about 5 Newsletters / year. All marketing material sent to the customer includes an option for the customer to request removal from any future marketing.

Disclosure of Information
flowersales.co.nz will not disclose any personal information such as your name, address, email, telephone number to any person outside of the company or the payment Gateway / Bank. or unless the customer has authorised us to do so or unless required by law to disclose such information. Furthermore, under no circumstances will flowersales.co.nz sell or receive payments or services for disclosing customer's ;personal information to any partner ;or ;external company.

The details of the flowers or gift baskets as well as the details of the person that will be getting the delivery will need to be sent to the florist that will fulfill the order.

Cookies
A 'cookie' keeps track of the information you provide such as the products in your shopping cart. ; We do not store any personal or financial information about you using cookies. ; The majority of web browsers automatically accept cookies, but most allow you to instruct your browser to prevent the use of cookies. Three-digit validation code
When you order from flowersales.co.nz, you will be asked for your credit card number and expiry date. ; You will also be asked for ;a three digit validation code. The validation code is a three-digit number on the back of the card. ; The code is a new feature, that provides merchants with an 'extra' layer of verification, especially when you use your card to make purchases on the internet, over the phone or via mail order.

The code is unique
The three-digit validation code is unique to your card. ; It is not embossed, like your card number, or electronically saved in your card's magnetic strip, so it's very difficult for fraudsters to get the number electronically or from a card imprint. ; When you provide the validation code to a merchant via the internet, over the phone or on a money order, the merchant has additional proof that you have the card in your possession when the transaction is made.

All orders are considered to be anonymous unless you tell us otherwise. Please include a "From Message" in the message box if you which the recipient to know who the flowers are from.

In email communications, there has always been, and always should be, an expectation of privacy between the sender and the intended recipients of a message. Privacy is compromised, however, if personal information or private email content is shared with parties other than the sender and intended recipients without their consent. flowersales.co.nz does not share or reveal email content or personal information with third parties. Email messages remain strictly between the sender and intended recipients.

Security

flowersales.co.nz are able to deliver flowers to all major locations in New Zealand. All orders received in our office by 2:00pm (NZ time) will be for same day delivery (Saturday delivery orders must be made prior to 10:00am for same day delivery, and no Sunday deliveries are made, please call +61 1300 794 262 if unsure). Alternatively you can specify a particular delivery date in the order form. All flowers are delivered fresh from local florists!

Regretfully, we are unable to guarantee time of delivery to rural route addresses, hotels, hospitals, military bases or cemeteries. To request a specific delivery time, please type it into the Special Instructions field during checkout. We will do our best to accommodate your preferences.

Mother's Day Deliveries are all accepted and delivered, but must be ordered by a certain time for guarantee for Mother's Day. If orders placed before cut off time orders will be delivered as requested. (Delivery on Sunday, for Mother's Day, can be arranged.)

flowersales.co.nz works in conjunction with Teleflora. Teleflora is a relay service for florists, and has now been established for 40 years. Teleflora is an incorporated association owned by its members.

flowersales.co.nz is also part of the relay organisation that is affiliated with Teleflora International Ltd, which is an international body consisting of members throughout the world, thus giving flowersales.co.nz access to approximately 70,000 floral shops worldwide.

Substitution Policy
Even though outmost care is taken to make sure that the flowers you order at flowersales.co.nz are what is actually delivered to the recipient, on some occasions, flowers are not available in all the cities all the time. In Smaller towns and cities the Exotic Flowers or rarer flowers such as peach coloured roses may not be available.

Many flowers are seasonably available and this may vary depending on the season and location. A particular flower may be available in Victoria in March but may not be available in Darwin due to the temperature. Sometimes, therefore, the florist may need to substitute one flower variety for another. But you will never be disappointed because all our florist adhere to the strict substitution guidelines as layed down by Teleflora which are detailed below:

With the gift you've selected, our experienced florists will ensure that the style, theme and colour scheme of your arrangement is preserved and will substitute only fresh flowers of equal or higher value.

Cancellations

If you choose to cancel your order once it has been placed we are more than happy to offer a full refund back to your credit card (less a $10.00 administration charge). We are unable to offer a refund on the day of dispatch as the flowers and gifts will already be on the way.

If in advent you have given us a wrong address we are more than willing to redeliver you order with a additional $10.00 delivery charge.If the recipient is not at the deliver address you have given, our expert couriers will do the best to leave the flowers in a safe location. If however we are unable to find a safe location our drivers will bring your flowers back , and we will contact the sender to arrange a new deliver time and date, in this situation we will charge an additional $10.00 delivery and admin fee.
